Sad news indeed
I only met Paolo once in person at the SHEER KoM, but had the pleasure of sitting next to him at the project meal. He was a thoroughly charming man who had a lot of time, humour and respect for young researchers. I’m sure he will be a massive loss to the community. Please pass on my condolences to his wife, family, and friends.
